I have nannied for various families, working with children aged 1 to 11 years old.  In addition to working for these families I have worked as an agency nanny and babysitter on an ad hoc basis where I provided care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years in a home and hotel setting.  Through this role I have gained an understanding of how to work together with a family to create a successful dynamic for living together. Whilst the children are at school and camps during some of the holidays I undertake responsibilities relating to the house. This includes: meal planning and organising the delivery of groceries; washing and ironing laundry; organising spaces around the house; sorting through clothing and other items for donation and disposal; posting parcels and other errands. When the children are with me, I try to enrich their days with opportunities to have fun and develop skills. I follow their interests and arrange activities accordingly. At home we engage in art activities, baking, and play games. I also enjoy getting out as much as possible, and try to go somewhere each day be it a full day out or a trip to a local park.
