Case Studies and Testimonials
Take a look below at some of the experiences shared by our clients in and around Buckinghamshire:
Travelling Abroad With Work
Mr and Mrs Hill both travel regularly to mainland Europe for business, often spending several days away each week. With three boys aged 5, 8, and 11, plus a Labrador, they needed consistent support at home. Having recently relocated, they contacted Nannies Matter after receiving a recommendation from a colleague.
Mrs Hill wanted a live-in nanny in place before starting her new role in Brussels that September, so we arranged for Jacqueline to join the family in August. This allowed time for her to settle into their routines and build relationships with the children before Mrs Hill returned to work.
Mrs Hill says:
“It was such a relief in the middle of house moving and changing jobs to have Nannies Matter working alongside me. They knew exactly what I needed and the importance of my timeframes to have someone in place.”
Returning to Work After a Second Child
When Ms Meakin decided to return to her role four days a week after her second child was born, she wanted care that would be more personal than a nursery environment. She asked us to recruit a live-out nanny to work Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm. Because the family lived in a rural village, driving skills and experience with multiple young children were essential.
The position involved full childcare responsibilities - maintaining both children’s routines, caring for their bedrooms and managing their laundry.
Ms Meakin says:
“Having made the hard decision to return to work, I knew exactly what I needed from my childcare and being able to work with one person who understood all my concerns was such a relief.”
After-School Cover
Mr and Mrs Clockhouse, parents of two children aged 5 and 3, required support during the busy hours between school finishing and the end of their working day. After relying on friends and other parents, they turned to Nannies Matter for a more permanent solution.
We met with the family one evening and, by the end of the summer holidays, they had chosen Zoe from a strong shortlist of suitable candidates.
Mrs Clockhouse says:
“Zoe has been with us nine months now and it is great to come home to a tidy house and happy, tired children.”
